Hand Range Selector Color Code???

I’ve been using the hand range selector for years without really registering in my mind that there’s a whole range of colors and hues which are changing in intensity as you change the Include percentage. It wasn’t until today after I screen scrapped some of the tables and printed them that I noticed.

At low percentages the hands selected are clearly in solid red but now I can see there are a whole range colors varying through solids to translucent hues of reds, purples, blues, and greens. If you were to put in something high like 75% then you can really see what I mean but they exist at all percentages but I find it hard to discern (which is probably why I haven’t noticed this until now). Also, at this high percentage I start to question what exactly is within my hand range selection and what isn’t. What is the definition of all this color coding?

The colors represent the strength of a starting hand vs an unknown starting hand where solid red colors are the strongest starting hands and solid green colors are the weakest starting hands. It's based on the Sklansky-Karlson model and you can see the ranking by holecard in this post.

Thanks, Flag_Hippo, for the prompt reply. That answer contained more info than I asked for. I feel this is a valuable feature I've been overlooking for years now lol!

Now, last question, is there any way for me to change when the colors change, what the colors are, and the gradient or intensity, of them? For example, the first new color (after red) displayed is purple/blue and you don't see that until you've specfied about 25% Include. I would like the colors to be introduced and the gradient/intensity change in increments of 5%.

Is there anyway to do that?

The colors, gradients e.t.c. displayed in the Hand Range Selector are not something that's customisable.
