HUD Data - how to access it after game

Postby vijayr » Sun Feb 16, 2020 3:01 pm

I like the PT3-Classic profile in the HUD
a. Aggression Frequency - how is it calculated ? Do you have a place where i could look up the formula for and other similiar (like Agg Factor etc.)
b. I like the stats in PT3-classic. I would like to look at similiar data after the game is done- Is it possible to look at this data in a similiar format from inside PT4. For example after I finish the game I would like to see how I can improve my AggFreq which is currently very low and good players have a higher AggFreq. I can see this data during the game, but I can't analyse well during game, hence I would like to this offline. Ideally i want to select a person X and look at his stats and compare mine for
lifetime and for that particular game

Thanks.

a. You can see exactly how any stat in PT4 is calculated by going to Configure > Statistics. Select the appropriate cash or tournament section, and the stats you want are in the "Player" section.
For more information on how stats work see the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics. (Built-in stats work exactly the same, you just can't edit them.)

b. You can add any stats you like to a report - right click the report and choose Configure Report. Go to "View Stats" and select a report.
To look at a different player simply search for their name in the Player dropdown at the top of the sidebar on the left.
You can also see the stats in Hud format in the Replayer - right click a hand and choose Replay Hand, or select multiple hands to replay them all.

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of the Replayer before.

I have some related questions.

1. Aggression Frequency data from one particular player is below
Overview: 11/43
Preflop Statistics: 22/221
Flop: 4/25
Turn: 4/12
River: 3/6
Why don't the numbers above add up - I would expect Overview = Preflop + Flop + Turn + River

2. Data in Replayer is as below
a. Tournament Specific for Hero (me)
b. Overall across all tournaments for any villian
Is my understanding above right

3. Not related to above, but I currently have a Player report formed in My Reports.
However, I would like a Player Report for only the best players (in my opinion). Say a Best Player Report with only 10 players and I will populate all the stats that i currently have in my player report.
Is there any way to form this report ?

4. In My Reports -> Can we use a cnt_pfr directly in the report ? Currently I make a Stat in Configure->Stats and then use it in reports. Is there a better way

5. What is the statistic for "I raise (PFR) and everyone folds" - If there is none - How do i make one ? Currently I am thinking
VPIP Count - Saw Flop Count - Fold to 3-bet Count

Thanks.

'Total AF' and 'Total AFq' are only the totals for postflop.

If you want to see your lifetime stats you can turn that option on via the 'Options' button in the 'Replayer'.

You can filter for the names of the players you choose by clicking on the 'Filters' link in a custom report, selecting 'Add New Expression Filters' and entering this expression filter:

Code: Select all
player.player_name = 'name1' OR player.player_name = 'name2'

Replace 'name1' and 'name2' e.t.c with the screen names you want to see and leave the single quotes - those are needed. You can also add additional ORs if you want to view the data for more players.

A statistic has to be created to do this as columns cannot be referenced directly.

That statistic doesn't exist but you can create it. See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The second guide was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4.
