importing self made hands

Postby bitswap » Mon Mar 02, 2020 5:01 pm

I am working on a project where I have computer generated poker hands. I want to import these in Pt4 for analysis.

I initially wrote my hands in the same format as one gets from 'View hand details" and 'copy RAW hand history'. However this does not work and Pt4 does not import these.

Could you recommend a simple hand history format that would be best for what I plan to do?

Is there a way to create a custom poker site in Pt4 with a name that I would choose?

My idea is to use PokerStars format. Create a new database and import my hand as if they were played on PokerStars. Would you be able to recommend any better way to do this?

You would need to create hands in the format of a supported site to be able to import them into PokerTracker 4 and I would think that a PokerStars format of hand would likely be one of the easiest to replicate. It''s not possible to create custom poker sites so if you can create valid hand histories then they will import as per the site used for the format.

Thank you for answering. I'll go for the pokerstars format then.
