Hand Range Visualizer problem

Postby GGGrande » Fri Apr 10, 2020 6:28 am

Hi,
I would like to see my opponents' openshove ranges for spin and goes, so I created the custom openshove stat for that. I made a report in My Reports where it shows e.g. 21/113 for an opponent. So I want a quick way to see these hands. I figured I make this player the active player, change to the Statistics tab, add the Openshove stat to the Heat Map Statistics, and then check the radiobutton, so I see all those hands.

But what happens is that while the overall openshove stat in the Visualizer shows the correct number, so the number of openshoves and the percentage corresponds to those in the report (no matter how I filter, the two always correspond, which is a good sign), however, the heat map only shows some of those hands and I have no idea why. I would imagine that - because the filters don't change between My Reports and Statistics - I need to see all the 21 on the Hand Range Visualizer as well. So it says Overall Openshove 18.6% (21) but I only see 7 of those on the grid.

What do I do wrong?

Thanks,
Gaspar

Did all 21 of those hands go to showdown? The hole cards in the 'Holdem Hand Range Visualizer' grid will only show hands for villains where the hole cards are known to PokerTracker 4.

Ah, of course. Obviously not. Sorry for this stupid question, but I was so lost, I have no idea how on earth it didn't occur to me.

Ok, something is definitely not working here. I checked the same thing with RFI knowing that there should be enough showdown hands. I check the SB and BTN checkboxes, number of players 3, no filtering for effective BBs. 13 hands come up. Now I filter for effective BBs 0 to 100 and only 98o comes up. I filter for any eff BBs, only 98o comes up any time I refresh. That is defintely not correct. So I set eff BBs to 0 to 100 again, uncheck the eff BB checkbox and check it again and voilá, all 13 hands show up again. So instead of the button Refresh, you have to uncheck and check the Eff BBs checkbox for it to work.

Then I played a bit again with the Openshove stat, and this happend: I filtered for SB and BTN and eff BBs between 11 and 100, 2 hands come up, then unchecking the BTN and now 7 hands come up with no percentages and dark green background.

Does this mean something?

I attached before after screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thanks,
Gaspar

Can you please export the hands for this player and your custom statistic. Once that's done attach them to a Support Ticket with a link to this thread.

Hi,

Thanks for your time. I added Support Ticket #486729 with the requested hand histories and all my custom stats, although I only used the Openshove custom stat when the issue came up.

Thanks,
Gaspar
