All in EV miscalc

Postby emcguirk8981 » Wed Apr 15, 2020 4:24 am

recently played the following hand. as you can see I had approx. 90% equity on the turn. When this hand was posted to the graph it should have had an increase in BB of 90 percent of the pot. instead the EV went down along with the green line and result of the hand. The hand was played on ignition. anyone ever seen this and is there a way to fix it. Also there was a side pot that jammed preflop and it closed the action. ON flop villain jammed for over pot and I called with 90% equity.

Unlike other posters ive seen ive not mistaken. The yellow EV should have went dramatically up after this hand. Instead it went dramatically down, even though I was a huge favorite. I have a good amount of experience with pt4 and know exactly how all in ev works. why did this happen?

In a hand like this where there was further action on another street after an all-in (BTN was all-in preflop) then PokerTracker 4 does not calculate adjusted equity as it introduces a bias in the results.

But there was further action. Button was all in pre, and the other villain went all in on the flop.
