PT4 e postgresql

Postby Miguel Silva » Wed Apr 22, 2020 6:14 pm

Ola boa noite.
O meu pc não abria e tive que correr o cd do sistema operativo (windows7 home premium).
Desde aí o PT4 não abre porque não está configurado com o postgresql, e não consigo configurar. Alguém pode ajudar?
Obrigado.

You can download PostgreSQL from here and this tutorial covers the installation process.

Did you receive confirmation that PostgreSQL installed successfully? Click your Windows Start button then type the following command:

services.msc

and click on it when it appears. Do you see the PostgreSQL service in the list? If the PostgreSQL service is not listed then it didn't install successfully - send us the text log of the failed install to us in a Support Ticket:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\Temp\install-postgresql.log

If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows then please refer to this guide.

If the PostgreSQL service is listed in services but not starting then open the Event Viewer (in the same way - if you type 'event' you should see it). In the top left section, expand "Windows Logs" and click on "Application". Do you see any recent errors in the top center section for PostgreSQL? If you do let us know what they say.
