Duplicated hands when imported from disk

Postby Robolomos » Thu Apr 23, 2020 12:51 pm

Hi! I just format my Laptop and I asked for my previous hand to Microgaming. Trying to import them I got the problem that they duplicated. I had at that time 30.000 hands and now I have more than 50.000. The results graph looks the same (The only difference is that the gap between the AllinEV line and the green is shorter). Any idea why this can happen or how to solve it? Thanks a lot

If you saw PokerTracker 4 reporting duplicates when importing that does not mean the hand is duplicated in the database. When PokerTracker 4 reads a poker hand that's already in your database it skips the import of those particular hands but it is reported in the import window.

The problem is that they are twice in the data so that instead of having 30.000 hands now I have 52.000

Duplicate hands do not import into the database and those will likely be 52,000 unique hands meaning that the sample you have been sent is not identical to the sample you had in your previous database. Furthermore there was a period in the past where certain MPN hands would not import into PokerTracker 4 (although they would now import if MPN sent you copies of those hands). If you believe there is a problem then send all relevant information to us in a Support Ticket along with a zip file containing these hand histories.
