Saving Report configuration

Postby philip77 » Wed May 20, 2020 7:14 am

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to save the configuration of a report to be able to load it again in the future . I am looking for a solution which is not a Backup of all the user files but just a report.
I am asking because it, because, twice this week I had to reconfigure completly my reports after they were send back to default after adding a new column.
I am not referring to the My reports group (which are easy to save and load) but to the reports which appear in the Results group (By descrition/by buy-in/by tournament/by date and Basic/Advanced)

Thanks

Customised built-in reports are saved in a single encrypted file so there isn't anything else I can suggest although if you do lose changes you can go to 'File > Open User Data Folder' and close PokerTracker 4. In the window that opened go into the 'Data' folder. If you have a 'ReportsCustomized.pt4.backup' file which is different (different size or date) to 'ReportsCustomized.pt4' then you can replace 'ReportsCustomized.pt4' with that and that should recover the reports (make copies of both files before you make any changes here).

Please send specific steps to us in a Support Ticket so we can try and reproduce along with your log file:
