Stat Labels not showing up on Custom HUD

This may be a silly question but I am a bit of a HUD newb. I created a custom HUD bit the Stat labels ie. PFR, VP, do not show up on my hud. The stats show up but I need to scroll over the stat in order to see what it is. I have compared it to the default HUDs and cannot notice anything missing. Has anyone seen an issue like this before?

Have you entered a prefix for each statistic in the HUD Profile Editor? Select a statistic in your profile and under the 'Item Properties' tab for the statistic there is a 'Prefix' field:
