Timezone Configuration for RedStar Poker

Postby m_dg_farari » Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:42 am

Hi everyone
I went through a lot of topics regarding timezone configuration on iPoker Skins
Recentlt RedStarPoker moved there and so did I...
RedStar uses "ET (Eastern Time , -04:00 UTC)" as their Server time . That is not in the list of selections in skin configuration.
I tried every Skin's timezone (Which is 4 in total... GMT , CET , JST , PHT) with both server time and local time and neither worked properly
I assume the solution would be for PT4 to add Redstar timezone as a Skin's timezone to their list?

Is that gonna happen anytime soon?

Is there another option for me?
Thanks in advance.

You can add your own entry to the ipoker.cfg file for this. Go to 'File -> Open User Data Folder' and then close PokerTracker 4. In the window that opened go to the 'Config' folder and open the 'iPoker.cfg' file in notepad (or any other text editor). Scroll to the bottom and add a new line in the [TimeZone] section for your own timezone.

Save the change and start PokerTracker 4 up again and it will be available as a timezone option in 'Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> iPoker Network'. Note that this file will be overwritten when we publish an update to it so you'll need to add the setting again in that case.

For some reason I did not receive any notification on the update!
Anyhow , I did what @Flag_Hippo said and it work just fine
Added:
14=RedStar Poker|EDT
At the end of the file and now times are accurate
P.S: first added ET time , and since it's in Daylight timezone , I had to change it to "EDT" so the 1 hour difference works.
Thanks a lot
