GGPoker Splash Pots Not showing up in database

Postby Kazamman » Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:58 pm

Were splash pots ever supported on PT4?

If so, I didn't notice it. But it may have been the new GGPoker update that was released a couple days ago that are messing up.

but yeh, it's annoying to be missing hands where I won money and it not showing it in graph.

I found this on 2p2. It seems to be on GGpokers end, hands not making sense as the $ amount is incorrect.
I have email PT4 for the same issue you face. and send them a hand sample where i run it twice.

This is what they replied below

According to the file you sent, an odd number of cents ($0.03) from the pot are shown as equal payouts (two x $0.01) meaning GG is not accounting for the 1c difference. In other words a total pot of $160.03 is paid out as two pots of $80.01 with no mention of what happened to the other penny.

This is a genuine error in the GG Poker hand histories. PT4 rejects these hands (correctly, since the data is incorrect) but the development team are discussing whether we should allocate the extra cent to one of the players to allow these hands to import regardless of the bad data.

Shady GG taking a cent off our pot when its odd number .
PT cant read hand cause a cent is missing from it, thus it not reflected in database.

It would be helpful if you guys at PT4 could implement a cause for these hands and allow them into the database. GGPoker will probably fix the issue soon.

Although this may be a different issue to mine.

I manually went through the pre-imported hand history txt file. And most pots were there but the large one specifically wasn't even in the txt file.
So I think this is entirely on GG at this point.

Thanks

Support was added for these pots on Run It Once but I haven't seen any examples of these hands from GGPoker.

For that particular problem you can open a Support Ticket to get notified of any workaround being issued in a future update.

Yes if the hand doesn't exist at all then there is no way for PokerTracker 4 to know about it but if you do ever have examples of these hands then please send them to us in a Support Ticket.
