Error: Unable to execute query - column does not exist

Hey Guys,

I recently installed PT4 on my main desktop - this is a new install - and i have a shared postgres 9.6 database for it on a server in my house. This allows me to access the data from either my laptop or my desktop.

However, on my recently installed (today) version of PT4 on my desktop - using version 4.15.27, i get the following error when trying to view the 'Results' page for my username (all the form fields are default.

Error: Unable to execute query: Fatal Error, Reason: Error: (ERROR: column tourney_summary.amt_bounty_val does not exist LINE 1: ...ey_results.amt_won + tourney_results.val_bounty * tourney_su...

On my mac, using 4.15.26 - i can see all of the data across the 'Results', 'Stats', and 'Graphs' pages with no errors like the above. So the differences i see is the version number between my PC and the MAC. I am afraid to upgrade the MAC version at this point (its a version / minor point release behind .26 vs .27).

Does anyone have any suggestions for me by chance on how i can get the PC version (.27) to render the data? I have no custom data points - and everything is 'out of the box' on the PC version. On the mac version, all i have modified is the HUD layout (minor changes for colors but no new data points / calculations or anything).

The column in your error was added to the database schema in PokerTracker v4.15.27 so both machines will need to be running the same version of PokerTracker 4. Update your Mac to v4.15.27 and it should prompt you to update the database and when that's complete you will be able to view the data on your new install that's already running v4.15.27.

Ahhh this makes sense I am sorry i didnt think of that. I performed the update on the mac - and performed the backup/update steps for the database. I think things are now working as expected on the system.
