Ipoker two differents Skins in one DataBase

Postby Joa1993 » Fri Jan 15, 2021 11:43 pm

Hi, I have the following issue. Due to problems with an Ipoker Skin I had to migrate to a new Skin, I was able to configure it to import the hands correctly (In the same database where I imported the hands from the old Skin) but the problem is that when viewing the Results (in the View statistics tab) of the new Ipoker user these are reflected in reverse. For example, if I won 10bb at the table, the graph reflects that I lost 10bb, like this and vice versa. The funny thing is that in the "Play Poker" tab in the section where the hands are reflected the results are good. I hope you can help me. Cheers!

That suggests that PokerTracker 4 was not able to retrieve the currency exchange rates from our servers but that would only affect statistics using 'My Currency' and not things like 'bb' as you've mentioned. If this issue is with currency statistics go to 'Database -> Currency', select any sessions/tournaments which have an exchange rate of -1 and click the 'Set Rates' button to fetch the correct exchange rates. Note that you can select a range of rows by holding shift and clicking the start/end and you can also select multiple ones individually by holding CTRL and selecting.

It didn´t work. I send you pictures.

The first Image the results are fine, but in the second one are wrong. That´s the problem. After i created the post, i tried creating a new Database and import all the hands that i plaid in the new skin and the results were correctly reflected. So it must be a problem with the Alias of the old skin from Ipoker?

I see now that the currency it´s wrong to, The first express the value in Euros (Fine) and the second one it´s in USD but the same amount (Wrong).

This has nothing to do with the other alias/skin - the current exchange rates are incorrect (minus 1) in that database for those sessions. This is why the 'My Currency' result is the exact opposite of the 'Game Currency' result:

Guide: My Currency

To fix it you need to set the correct exchange rates for those sessions in 'Database -> Currency' by selecting the incorrect sessions and setting the exchange rates. If that isn't working for you then enable logging in PokerTracker 4, try to set the exchange rates and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File -> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and depending on your Windows settings it will be a text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log'.

This situation normally occurs when the timezone is configured incorrectly for iPoker as their hand histories do not specify what timezone is being used so you should set the time in the iPoker lobby to server time and not your local time. Then in PokerTracker 4 go to 'Configure > Sites & Import Options > iPoker' and select the skin you play at, or if it isn't listed one which uses the same server timezone as your skin. That should mean that the hands import as the correct time, and that should avoid problems with retrieving the exchange rates.
