Pokerstars color ranges limit

I play on a site not supported by PT4, but I am converting hand histories into Pokerstars format, and creating my own table covers for the HUD to attach. Everything is working as intended, but I am limited by the number of color ranges allowed by Pokerstars.

Is there any way to bypass this limit? I understand that this is a limitation imposed by Pokerstars, but I don't have Pokerstars open or installed. I am hoping that this is possible without rewriting my hand history converter. Are there any sites on the "Poker Network" list that accept hand histories in Pokerstars format, but do not impose the three color range limit?

There isn't a bypass otherwise that would allow for the PokerStars terms of service to be broken by PokerTracker 4 (this is why this method of coloring statistics is also blocked for PokerStars). If you do not want your data to be subject to the limitations imposed by the PokerStars Third Party Tools and Services Policy you will need generate hands in the format of a different site/network.

Thank you for your reply, Flag_Hippo. I figured that this might be the case. I will generate hand histories in another format.

Can you confirm if any other networks impose any limits on HUDs (other than the ones that ban HUDs altogether)? Where can I find information about how PT4 parses hand histories and table names from a particular network? I don't have hand history samples from any other sites, so it would be great if you can share some details.

The OP's hand history sample looks identical to Pokerstars format. Is it as simple as changing "PokerStars Hand" to "BetOnline Hand" at the beginning of each hand, and keep everything else the same? Does PT4 change how it looks for open tables, depending on which poker network is enabled for import?

While it is similar to a PokerStars format I can't tell you if that will work for your hands or not.

Does PT4 change how it looks for open tables, depending on which poker network is enabled for import?

As far as I am aware the principle is basically the same although there might be exceptions.

Thanks, Flag_Hippo. Looks like I can convert to WPN format with a relatively few small number of changes, and now I am able to have unlimited colors in my HUD. Regarding the most recent update to fix the invalid BB issue, the hands still import with the old order with the blinds before the hole cards. Will PT4 continue to support to parsing hands both ways in future updates? Please let me know if I need to switch the order in my converter, or if the old format will still be okay going forward.

Also, a bit off-topic on this sub-forum, but can you explain how NoteCaddy works with PT4? On the product page, it still says "Beta Sign-Up", even though the latest beta version was released in 2017. Once I sign up, do I need to buy packs in order to use? Or can I create my own stats/badges/charts and have full functionality without having to buy anything?

PokerTracker 4 will still import previous formats for legacy reasons however please bear in mind PokerTracker 4 doesn't support your hands specifically so I cannot give any assurances with regards to your personally converted hands.

While NoteCaddy is still in Beta it is being regularly updated and these updates download automatically through PokerTracker 4 when NoteCaddy is installed. The beta includes a coaching pack which has a set of definitions, badges, HUD Profiles e.t.c. and you can also create your own:
