hands chart with winnings by position

Postby socorrista5 » Sat Oct 27, 2012 12:48 pm

Hellom
I don't know if there is an option to see what I will explain you, and if not, could it be in a future release?

I'd like to have a square chart in the same way the the chart: "Statistics" > "Holden Hand Range visualizer", that would show below each hole hand (the 169 posible hands: pairs, suited hands and offsuited hands) the amount of big blinds won.

This chart should also be affected by the filters at the left side of the window (by date, by stake, etc).

Also this chart would be possible to be displayed by position.

With this information we could see, for example, my winnings or loosing BBs with for example AJo from Early Position, or until which hand at late position I have winnings to improve my stealings, of until which hand I have winnings at middle position to improve my first raise hands, or with which hand at an specific position I loose and I should not be playing, and so on.

Thanks

You can see this information already, just in individual rows rather than in a grid. Take a look at the Results -> Summary report and change the Group By drop down on the left hand side to group by Hole Cards (Holdem).

That shows you your data for the various hole cards (and you can add BB Won if it's not already there by right clicking the report and choosing Configure Report).

You can filter to specific positions as well via the More Filters area under Hand Details -> Player Position.

Thanks!,

just one question regarding the Player Position.

In the filter it says that Button is always 0, Small Blind is 9 and Big Blind is 8.

So for 10 positions table I have this:
Blinds: 8 and 9
Early: From 7 to 5
Middle: From 4 to 2
Late: From 1 to 0

But for a table with 9 position..., how would it be?, bacause if button is always 0 and blinds are always 8 and 9.....?????
Could it be like this?:
A)
Blinds: 8 and 9
Early: From 6 to 5 (so there is no position number 7?)
Middle: From 4 to 2
Late: From 1 to 0

B)
Blinds: 8 and 9
Early: From 7 to 6
Middle: From 5 to 3
Late: From 1 to 0 (so there is no position number 2?)

C)
Blinds: 8 and 9
Early: From 7 to 6
Middle: From 5 to 3
Late cutoff: 2
Late button: 0 (so there is no position number 1?)

The numbers always peel off from 7 going backwards. So when there aren't enough players there's no 7, then no 6, then no 5, then no 4, etc all the way backwards.

In terms of position names, every position from 2 to 6 handed is individual - BB/SB/BTN/CO/MP/EP are 6 positions - 5 handed we have no EP, 4 handed no EP or MP, etc. When you get to 7 you have two EP and one MP, 8 has two of each, 9 has 3 MP and 2 EP and 10 has 3 of each.

Hello,
it is strange to my, because talking in terms os positions in a 9-handed table, all I have heard talks about:

a) with 9 players: 2 EP, 3 MP, 2 LP, 2 Blinds
b) with 8 players: 1 EP, 3 MP, 2 LP, 2 Blinds
c) with 7 players: 0 EP, 3 MP, 2 LP, 2 Blinds
d) with 6 players: o EP, 2 MP, 2 LP, 2 Blinds

But in your explanation you say that my options b) and c) are incorrect. Are you sure about this fact???, for me it is a little bit strange with respect what I have read regarding full-ring tables.
